First Nokia with Flash Lite Pre-installed - a Mass Market Model!

Great news, Darren Osadchuk on the Flash Lite Yahoo Group spotted this press release today stating the brand new Nokia 6125 series 40 (i.e. cheaper/more accessible/mass market) phone comes pre-installed with the Flash Lite player.

It might sound like I'm making a big deal out of this but this is something us Flash Lite folk have been waiting for for months, not that the browser implementation on the Sony Ericsson walkman phones wasn't good news, but hopefully this means we'll see the standalone player out there.

Ciao Rich,

I saw it this morning too and blog it.
This is important since is the first time Nokia puts on tehir press release for a new phone, Flash Lite.
Which means that it's a feature of the phone and people will begin to consider it. Also as you mention the phone is a Series 40 ! One curiosity is: is the Flash Lite pre-installed the same as the Series 60?

any news if its 1.1 or 2.0?

I'd be almost 100% sure it isn't 2.0, way too soon to make it through the entire manufacturing process.

According tothe link below it is FL1.1
But it wont be out until the 2nd quarter so that could be June! Still great news for series 40!
