MXNA Flash Lite App

Flash, Flash Lite, Mobile Add comments

Ok, so this is my first attempt at using the new MXNA Flash Lite services. I must say, apart from the initial problem with the feed, now fixed thanks for Christian and Mike, it all went very smoothly.

You can run the app in the regular Flash player here (remember the key mappings, PageUp and PageDown are your phones softkeys).

You can download it for your phone here (including source code!)

    Hi Richard,
    Thanks for sharing the app with us.

    Just a couple of comments. On my new Nokia 6680 the MXNA news item font size appears to be a tad too large, as there is an overlapping of the lines (author/title/tory) of each item.

    Also, i'm not sure what fonts you've used for the intro text and navigation buttons but they're rendering blurred and anti-aliased. I'm thinking that perhaps you didn't use pixel or system fonts for these?

    Thanks for the comments and feedback Matt, I'll have these sorted in a jiffy, well tomorrow morning as it's 3a.m. right now :)

    I didn't use system or bitmap fonts for the navi keys, but I'll definitely test this out and may switch these over too.
